“Manufacturing in Canada is a huge benefit for our U.S. franchisees. We distribute through our U.S. location, but manufacturing labor is almost 50% cheaper. If you’re charging the same or more in the U.S., but paying 30-40% less for the product, you can imagine the profitability for our franchisees is higher than for our Canadian franchisees.”

Carmelo explained that their Canadian manufacturing base and U.S. distribution center provide a buffer against potential tariffs. Even with tariffs, the projected price increase to customers would be small, thanks to their efficient model and competitive pricing.
